Unfortunate incident
An otherwise very good stay was marred by an unfortunate incident. i had two credit cards in a pocket on the inside of my backpack. I didn’t realise there was a problem until I got home to Boston and I saw attempts to charge one of the cards. Fortunately my bank declined them and I have since cancelled the cards. This has really ruined what was otherwise a great experience. Perhaps I should have been more careful and used the safe. At the same time, one doesn’t expect this sort of thing to happen in fine properties.

Overall, we were happy during our first stay. The pool area was lovely and warm. The room itself was a nice size but the bathroom was extremely small and uncomfortable to maneuver in. There is nowhere to hang/dry your towels and the hand towel rack gets trapped behind the bathroom door when it’s open. The room tech seemed nice to begin with (the auto open and close curtains were very cool) but a few of our buttons did not work - the thermostat wouldn’t change and we got so warm in the night, it was difficult to sleep. We did not rest well at all, sadly. Apart from that, everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating.
