Great value but rooms could do with a deep clean
We needed a cheap place to crash for the night and found a room here. The ensuite private bathroom with shower was good. However there was no soap/hand wash. Despite the bed linen looking clean/fresh, I woke up next morning with several red marks on my body - which seemed like bed bug bites!

Awful stay
We arrived early and a really nice lady put our bags behind the bar so we could go and grab some lunch whist they got the room ready. We returned at 4 and was given our key by a different lady (Julie) we went to our room and it was awful. Stains on cushions, curtains, walls and 3 small blood stains on the sheet. I rang Hotels.com to ask for a refund who rang the hotel and were told no refund. 2 minute's later someone just walked in to the room. She apologised and said she wasn't told we were in and had come to check the room. After inspecting and finding multiple dead bug's she said she would tell julie. When i spoke to Julie to sort out the refund she refused and told me to go away. We slept on the top of the quilts that night and booked a new hotel for our second night just to get out. The bathroom is a wet room that doesnt drain properly either so take footwear to go to the toilet. 0 out of 10. No 1 because the first lady was really nice.

Not disabled friendly
Requested disabled access room, was told we could access lift after 12am and that someone would be here. However when we came back at 11:30 no one was there and the door to the lift was locked. Three disabled people had to struggle getting up the stairs, when we were told we could access the lift. Also the disabled pull cord for emergency falls was tied up, so had one of us fallen we wouldn’t have been able to receive help.
