The Town Lodge is connected to and basically the discount side of the Fairview Hotel. Other than smaller rooms and a simpler breakfast, the high standards of the Fairview apply at the Town Lodge. Of particular note, in a country where hotels are expensive and service is poor, the Town Lodge is a real deal and the service is impeccable.

Not up to usual standard
I have stayed here before abd found it perfectly fine. This time though it was not good. The room was very hot and full of mosquitoes. No spray or mosquito nets. But there was a fan on the ceiling so should have been fine but the fan was incredibly noisy. Not notmally noisy but it was banging in quite a scary way. I should have asked for a change of room but my son and i were exhausted. I am disappointed as i usually find this hotel perfectly good. Just unlucky .
