Homely, affordable and friendly.
The hotel is well situated for access to most of Cape Town's sights and to the surrounding area. A car is probably essential though... ... there is parking on site. Our room was clean and comfortable, and quite large. The dining room was across the road which was not a problem. The food for both breakfast (included) and evening meal (optional, and very affordable) was excellent and everything was freshly cooked

A great guest house, convenient for the airport.
We stopped at this guest house on the final night of our fantastic South African holiday, to give ourselves an easy drive to the airport. The neighbourhood is residential, quiet and just what we needed. The restaurant delivers excellent food at great value.

Can I stay here without a car?
Lovely, safe neighborhood. 15 min walk to Vincent Paolotti Hospital (Life Orthopaedic Hospital). 5 min to small grocery. 20 min to small mall and big grocery. 1 min to a roundabout where taxis hang about. Uber works. The lodge exceeded my expectations in comfort and luxury. The breakfasts were magnificent... serving 7AM-11AM. Well stocked mini-bar (honor system, paid). Good wi-fi. Lodge restaurant (a walk across the street) served the best meal I've had in years. Minor negative was the street noise and having to walk across that busy street. I chose the lodge because it was close to the hospital I was visiting. I would choose the lodge again if coming as a tourist.
