Expected to be clean. Decorative pillow with stains, bed sheet stinking of sweat and perfume (clarely not changed since last guests), 2 sets of pillows with stains and no pillow cases, bed skirt dirty, nightstands dirty.

Booked a single room was ok for one night bed was comfy and tea and coffee was provided short walk to the centre and beach was good value for what I paid would stay again

We didn't like anything about it the room was dirty with a stained chair near the window it was badly decorated the shower base was going through the floor the wash basin was stuck to the wall with sealant the bed was uncomfortable the headboard was falling off the kettle and cups were dirty and we had to phone the owner to come and let us in all in all not a very pleasant experience

Ok. Needs a little TLC.
Room was clean and beds comfy, although the shared facilities was a surprise- this may be me not reading details. Outstanding view of the Scarborough cricket ground and a short walk away from good cafes serving breakfast. No mention of breakfast in the hotel itself so be prepared to go out. Public areas felt a little uncared for with cleaning materials left on landings. Ok for the overnight pit stop we needed.

Very disappointed had to phone a number on door to gain entry to accommodation, room very small well in need of a full refurb very out dated ,shower and toilet in a cupboard tv didn’t work probably and windows didn’t open to let fresh air in , for the price should of really included breakfast especially when she owns her own cafe few doors away won’t be staying again .
