Budget motel that does its job.
The place wasn't the newest but it is clean and practical. It has electric vehicle chargers, a big plus at this price range. A short walk to downtown area, but not the most pleasant. Overall would recommend but don't expect a high end hotel.

The hotel is old but kept very clean. The noise can be loud from the road if your room is facing that direction. We liked the ability to walk to restaurants, the water and shops.

Nice Host, rough area
The host was very friendly and helped tell my wife and I about the area and good things to do while we were in Eureka. The location of the hotel is a little rough. I was hassled by some vagrant people while unloading my car. However nothing was damaged as the hotel does have security cameras and is well lit. The hotel is dated and looks pretty cool if you enjoy old road motels. Unfortunately the bed was not very comfortable.

Vomit Hotel
Stayed there about a month ago. The room smelled so strongly of vomit that I was unable to fall asleep. Bedding was thin and uncomfortable, and did not protect against the cold (no heat in the room either). Shower drain was so clogged up that by the end of my shower my feet were immersed in about 3 inches of water. Was really grossed out and happy to leave.
