AMOY by Far East Hospitality (SG Clean)

It is a funky, small hotel in an old pagoda. The room was modern and lovely with an excellent coffee machine and nice, complimentary snacks and drinks. A great complementary breakfast was next store. The staff was all so helpfull when we asked questions about places to visit and how to navigate the city. The location is perfect - right across the street from the subway which we used twice. We visited the Botanical Gardens just a few stops away and also Gardens by the Bay. There are so many restaurants nearby and also a huge food court with many ethnic food stalls. We loved our short stay at Amoy hotel.

Staff was really friendly and welcoming, unique stay at a hotel that is so close to many heritage/cultural site. Highly recommended for all!

Good for the price and great location. The bed is a little small for above average height people. There was an above average level of ambient noise which made deep sleep difficult.

If you looking for a hotel with all the modern gadgets and luxuries this is not your hotel. If you want an experience of old school hospitality then this small hotel is a must. Everything is built around you being attended too in a way a top price hotel would but at a reasonable price. This place is trying to dazzle you with small gestures and attention to little details. A free ride, snacks on the house, a limited mini bar for you, and a focus on your needs at all times. Old school hospitality at a reasonable price!

Great location. Very helpful staff would stay again

This is an exceptional hotel which has been built in/around a restored Chinese Buddhist Temple, Fuk Tak Chi Temple, in central Singapore. The lobby is actually a small museum containing various artifacts and a miniature model of Singapore and the area around Fuk Tak Chi as it would have looked in the 19th century. The location is perfect — just few blocks to Chinatown, Club Street, Ann Siang Hill, and several hawker centers close by. Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the Bay are a longer walk (about a mile) but easy enough. The service was impeccable. I requested a late check out as my flight didn’t leave until 7pm; they happily allowed me to stay until 3pm. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Singapore.

The only downside was that the hotel is built in an older structure, so there are steps in many places, including the rooms.

the entrance is very special and full of history. Very clean, friendly and professional staffs, excellent services. Good location and convenient public transportation. renovated old building, not as convenient as modern building, but acceptable.

The little gifts I received each night were heartwarming. Staff were exemplary. Food was very well prepared and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this property. I left Singapore with a very positive impression of the people, those at AMOY in particular.
