I was conned the hotel didn’t exist at all. I was made to twice. The building is the same but the name is not the lodge. I demand my money back that I paid for in London before I left.

Hotel under new management. No longer The Lodge
This hotel is no longer The Lodge, Kampala. It is under new management and is called Rekuson Motel. Don't make bookings under The Lodge as the new management will not know you have booked and you may not get a room. Also payments do not go through to Rekuson.

The hotel is situated at very nice location is pretty cool, the only thing I will like to say is the road to the hotel is not too good, however they workers their are so nice people and the Manager she is so good to people I will be using this hotel any time I am going to Uganda

EXCELLENT!!
have been traveling regularly to EBB from USA since 2011. The Lodge has been our best stay ever! clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower, private sitting room, great breakfast and friendly accomodating staff. will definately stay here again!

Nice location and comfortable
The rooms are spacious, cleaned daily plus other communal areas. Lovely gardens, wifi connected, good breakfast served by brilliant Alex. Situated literally seconds from the highway to the Airport, Not far away is Lubowa with loads of shops, bars and restaurants. There is also a petro station nearby with both a mini supermarket and a restaurant. The only bits I found unacceptable were, I had to ask for a wireless password , not communicated to the times breakfast served. But overall v.good lodge

Comfortable lodging near Kampala-Entebbe Road
We traveled from the US and spent a week at The Lodge along with our grand-daughter who attends the nearby International School of Uganda. We chose the location because of its proximity to her school and Entebbe International Airport. We felt safe and comfortable within the walled and gated hotel compound. The manager, Alex, and his staff were gracious and accommodating. Our rooms and linens were cleaned daily. We marveled at the cleanliness in spite of the Ugandan red dust followed by torrential rains. Internet and power were sporadic but the staff kicked in the generator each time the power went off in the evenings.

The Lodge Kampala
Close to the school that I was visiting so an ideal location for me. Food ok, but there was no kitchen as advertised. Wi-fi didn't work properly. Plenty of space in room.
