Lawnswood Holiday Apartments

We stayed in apartment one and were told beforr arriving that it was cosy. First impressions were good, very clean ans well decorated. I was suprised there was cleaning equipment already there so didn't need to bring my own in the end. tea and coffe also supplied as a hotel would. Host is very friendly and takes the time to get to know eacch guest. Improvments to appartment one would be to remove the unnecessary extra fire door in between the front door to the room and the room its self, as it is cosy this takes up more valuable space. Furthermore the bathroom door has to stay open in order to use the toilet , I'm 5ft 2 and my knees were up against the door when closed. My 6ft 3 husband wasn't able to close the door all. There is a new road sign which states permit holders only allowed to park on the road so you'll have to park 5-10 min walk away from premises. We would stay again as it's clean pleasant close to attractions .

Margaret was waiting to greet us, very friendly, cheerful and helpful. We chose a smaller room knowing we wouldn’t spend much time in it for one night however I was pleasantly surprised with everything that was available. You could quite happily cook a meal for 4 in the kitchen area; everything was provided - tea, coffee, chocolate biccies, microwave, kettle, washing up liquid, hairdryer, heater, TV...the list is endless. Although the en-suite was small, it was functional. The train station is approx 5-6 minute walk from the apartment and the pleasure beach is one minute away. There is now permit parking only on the road but Margaret was very helpful in suggesting places available to park. A fabulous little find and I would return. Thank you.

Property owner is really friendly and she took care of us really well. Plus the property is 1 minute walk from Pleasure Beach and waterpark

Absolutely superb couldnt fault the apartment atall. Was immaculate and clean. The owner was amazing and so lovely to talk to! So helpful and just really nice xxx

Hands down the Best place to stay in Blackpool. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Facilities are perfect and Margaret is one of the loveliest people you could meet. Amazing.

Great location near pleasure beach & close to beach & sea. Very clean hotel & has everything you need small kitchen shower & bedroom. Margaret the owner is Very friendly & helpful.
