Stayed here on a Friday night, after a night out in Brum. Chosen as it was the cheapest and suited us location wise. It was good value for money with the cost being low and breakfast included. The staff were all absolutely great. Very friendly and helpful.
I asked for a quiet room and was given a spot at the end of the corridor, we still got disturbed by other guests who were very loud talking in the hallways in the middle of the night. It isn't the hotels fault that some of the guests are thoughtless, although they say rooms are sound proofed, I don't think that is accurate.
The bed and bathroom were clean, nice towels. Bed was comfortable enough. I hate that you can't open a window but that seems pretty standard with hotels these days, there was air con and heating, we didn't use it. I just like fresh air when sleeping.
The sofa had some horrible food stains on it so we didn't even sit on it. Breakfast was OK, very busy but to be expected, lots of families. They didn't do much on the vegan front although they had fruit, toast with flora, baked beans and soya milk / cereal, so I could eat something.
I think it was good for the price we paid and for one night.
