Would stay at Astelia Wellington again.
Good self-contained apartment, central location. Ventilation could be better with only one door-style window which couldn't be open on windy days. First room allocated was next to lift despite quiet room request including not located near lifts on medical grounds. Fortunately, Reception was able to find a more suitable room. Dryer complicated to use and to know where it is in the cycle, can't check if clothes are dry prior to cycle end (especially if you don't want woollen garments fully dry i.e. shrunk). Need further details on the instruction list - read it like you are needing to use that type of machine for the first time. However, would be keen to stay at the Astelia Apartment Hotel on our next visit to Wellington

Good place for short stays. But disappointed as room was older than pictures showed. Walls are paper thin, heard people in other room so that means no privacy in your own room. Staff were lovely tho.

Bathroom fan did not appear to work and carpets were a little stained. No aircon in room (and having balcony door open wasnt a suitable option overnight due to street noise). Otherwise room and facilities were great and reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Good sized room, had king studio with kitchenette and washing machine. No airconditioning, but could open the window, and there was a portable fan. Very pleasant helpful staff whether speaking in person or on the phone. On the downside the carpet was pretty grubby (stains?), and we had problems with the in room washing machine which also doubled as a clothes dryer. Intructions provided were for a different model machine, and helpful staff attended in an attempt to have the machine dry our clothes, but were unsuccessful. It was very pleasing, however, that they arranged to collect, dry, and deliver our clothing back to our room without cost. We would be happy to stay there again.
