Madaba stay
Only had a 1 nights stay here in Madaba, where we stayed at this hotel. Although it’s quite old and does need a little bit of a refurb. For the price can’t really have that many complaints. Good location, decent pool and very friendly staff. Would have no issues staying here again should we come to Madaba. So if you are looking for a no thrills well priced hotel it’s great.

This hotel is wonderful! If we get a chance to return to Jordan we will absolutely stay here again. Madaba is a perfect location to stay in Jordan. It's not over congested like Amman but there is so much to do. It's about a 45 minute drive to the dead sea, an hour to Amman, and 15 min from Mount Nebo. There are many other historic sites in Madaba as well. They have a small private parking lot which is perfect because there is so much within walking distance. The tourist street is nearby with many shops and welcoming locals. Plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping as well. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was truly wonderful. Haithm and Nadeen were especially amazing. They went above and beyond for us and made us feel so welcomed. Thank you so much! We hope we can return soon!

A very nice hotel only 25 minutes from Queen Alia airport (without having to deal with Amman traffic). Convenient to Dead Sea and Baptism Site (about 40 minutes), and to the highway to Petra & Aqaba. Hotel is older, but not run down. Very convenient to shopping in Madaba.

We stayed at The Grand Hotel Madaba 2 separate times on our trip to Jordan. The first time we went the electronic key to the door was broken so we had to use a make trips to the front desk and ended up using a make shift mechanical key. The bed both times was a box spring with a 1.5 inch piece of foam over the top. There was no mattress. The first time we had to have maintenance come fix our thermostat. The second stay the same problem happened which they could not fix so they moved us to a new room... with the same thermostat problem for which they sent another person who did fix it. The room however had no toilet paper. The breakfast was very good.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location for going to Petra, Wadi Rum--better than Amman. Unless you are with a tour group and your transportation is all arranged, you really should hire a private car to visit all these tourist spots. The hotel makes arrangements for private cars for you. Make sure you ask for Amer as the driver. Amer is super knowledgeable, dependable, friendly, and a lot of fun to ride with. The rates are reasonable. I had a super time riding in his car going to all the tourist spots for 4 days. Thank you, Amer.
