The front desk was awesome. Both people I met there were incredibly helpful and kind. Breakfast was very good. Had an assortment of pastries, cheeses, meats, and eggs as well as coffee/juice/water/tea. We were in the panorama room and the view was spectacular. We ended up sharing a bottle of wine on the balcony and just relaxing up there. Overlooked the ocean and the colorful buildings. Close to a couple restaurants and about a two blocks distance uphill wall from the train station (took us approximately 5 minutes but may be of concern if you have bad knees). The bed was comfortable. However, my only cons would be that the window treatments were all sheer white curtains which made privacy a bit of an issue. Additionally, there is a bell tower across the street that rang I believe on the hour from 7 AM to about 9 PM which was a tad annoying but overall not a big deal considering it wasn't interrupting our sleep. They have a little rooftop terrace for guests which was very neat!

The property is beautifully taken care of. The patio area outside has a beautiful view of the terraced hill and you can watch and hear the church bells. A fantastic breakfast with Cappuccino while hearing goats off in the distance. A fantastic breakfast away from the hustle and bustle of tourists.

    Perfect place to relax

This place is in a secluded, yet easily accessible, area of Manarola. We stayed here and had a great time! The free breakfast is delicious - pastries, breads, and even eggs in any style you request! The patio area was nice too. The view from our room was great too. The staff were super accommodating and helpful. I would stay here again and am recommending this place to friends.

Balcony at the top of the apartment was an excellent place for dinner and having a glass of wine.

Views were amazing from the hotel room looking over all of Manarola and the sea. Breakfast was delicious, room was comfy and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. It is all the way up at the top of town so it is a bit of a hike with bags from the station but the views more than make up for that.

    Enjoyable stay in Cinque Terre

We booked late and probably had the last choice room in the B&B. I didn’t like it because there was a street lamp right outside the window which kept me awake. Maybe other rooms are better. That said, the room itself was nice. The staff were friendly and the breakfast sufficient. The location of the B&B was very convenient- reasonably close to Manarola train station and quiet. I think you really do need to be close to one of the 5 Cinque Terre stations to enjoy the area so I’m glad we could get in at Da Baranin

We had a very lovely terrace in front of our room and we were able to sit out on it in the late afternoons or evening. We enjoyed the hillside view of the vineyards and the sounds of the running stream that was near by. That was our favorite part of our stay!

    Lovely getaway

Great room furbished to a very high standard. We had the one with the freestanding bed and huge walk in shower. Cannot fault the room except for the fact that it didn't have a balcony and the photos made it look like it did. Don't let it put you off staying here just be aware that its a dark room and the balcony is for another room.
