Refinery Hotel

Not a four star so not worth $400 plus per night. The beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. The rooms were larger for New York so no complaints. The toilets on the 5th floor were horrible - had to move rooms because they did not flush and kept getting clogged. The Empire State view is not as great as some claim because you can only see it from one area in the rooftop.

Great hotel friendly staff good location

Stayed at the refinery for 5 nights with my partner. The service from when our cab pulled up until we left was first class. Nothing was too difficult for the team to accommodate us, we had a room on one of the lower floors and roadwork started from 11pm until 5am, and the team happily moved us to a higher level in the building. The rooms were furnished beautifully and the layout made them feel very spacious (even though they were small). The location is around Bryant Park and was within walking distance of most touristy things you want to see.
