Negatives and Positives.
Great customer service! Good location, not even 1 min walk away from Bayswater underground station( keep in mind, if traveling from train staton or airport, this underground station doesn't have an elevator) The hotel was under some construction, but I didn't hear anything. The Continental breakfast is basic continental: Few pastries, some fruit, yoghurt, and cereal. Negative bits: I stayed in a junior suite. In the bathroom, it clearly used to be a shower/bath combo, however the bathroom counter connected from the sink over the tub, so actually you couldn't take a bath. Seemed odd and someone clearly cut corners in renovation ideas. The TVs in the room: Great that they have chromecast, many luxury hotels I have stayed in still lack this feature, HOWEVER; the TVs would NOT stay turned off! This drove me insane, which I finally unplugged them so I could get some sleep.

The whole stay from start to finish was so lovely. Amazing value for money for the luxury that you receive. The staff at the door were so friendly and make you feel at home straight away. 100% will book again and I don’t often go to the same place twice as I love trying new places!

Good potential but…
The hotel is great but there were three things; 1. First night, the room was freezing, and I complained about it, ended up having a debate (polite way of saying argument) with the gentleman at the front desk, who claimed that I wasn’t operating the air conditioning correctly and effectively blamed me for the temperature in the room (it was freezing) eventually agreed to supply a heater which rectified the situation. 2. Scaffolding outside the building which I actually phoned the hotel before to find out about. I was told that actually there wasn’t scaffolding. My room was actually used to provide electricity to the workers and therefore there was a cable coming into the room, plugged into the electrical socket, which I had to unplug it and put it outside on the scaffolding. Additionally, as the windows were open I had to figure out how to close them and lock them because I was otherwise insecure. Thankfully I’m a male, but if I was a female I might have felt very safe. 2. One day in eating hours I was treated to a demonstration of the workers skills directly outside the bedroom window. Again. If I’d been a woman I would’ve been incredibly embarrassed walking around the room. Having the workers looking in while doing their work. I had to use the blackout blinds. I have video evidence. 3. Housekeeping didn’t clean on day three - but in evening after prompting they rectified.

Comfy stay in a very good location
Overall a comfy stay. Rooms are little small but that’s what you expect for European city hotels. Especially if you are from North America the room might look much smaller. However the hotel is really nice. Next to a tube station, has good restaurants and fast food options within 10 seconds of walk. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

Rude staff, hard to locate the hotel because the entry is hidden, room is not properly clean, dust everywhere, dirty carpets in the room, everything was too narrow so there was hardly any room to walk around in the room or the hotel in general.
