Srinagar - Magical City, Magical People
Everything was Perfect !! Shaban, the Houseboat Capitain, went well over the limits trying to please us in every aspect. The Kashmiri People are extremely nice, everybody always trying to offer their help. Srinagar as a City is unbelievably beautiful. It certainly deserves a longer vacation then the three days we had. Hopefully we’ll have another opportunity to come back and further explore this magical city... Thanks Shaban and the staff of Swan G. of Houseboats !!!

Not so good
The owners keep trying to tack on additional costs on anything. You have to negotiate every price. They force you to have dinner there by already making it before you agree to it. They are not clean, and do not come with essentials such as toilet paper and shampoo. You can ask for towels though.

MY BEST HOLIDAY AT THE SWAN
I stayed on SWAN GROUP OF HOUSEBOATS and I really enjoyed my holiday as the houseboat is very well maintained with all the modern facilities and the food is delicious . They also arranged my AIRPORT PUCKUP up at a very good price. WIFI is free and very good speed. They also arranged a beautiful SHIKARA RIDE on Dal Lake and I also enjoyed it.Thanks to the management. I will come back with my family..

Pathethic/Horrible Experience
It was a horrible experience from starting to end. We end up leaving hotel after 4 hours instead of 4 hours. Will never ever recommend to stayin houseboat until you see the houseboat from inside. Heater in room was costing 800 rs for 8 hours which is after booking deluxe room. You will be left stranded in houseboat everytime you wanted to goto road -you end up paying money.. complete disaster!!!
