One night stopover at the Boleyn Hotel.
Stayed for one night in the Boleyn Suite to attend a local wedding. We were three adults so the suite met our needs with a king size bed in the main bedroom area and a sofa bed in the adjacent lounge area. King size bed was comfortable but the mattress on the sofa bed was thin and our daughter complained of feeling the springs all night. Bathroom was modern with a rainfall shower that was easy to regulate. Supplied soap and shower get were also nice - more superior than most hotels. Tea and coffee making in the room with a medium sized kettle. No biscuits provided - this would have been a nice touch. Good wifi reception and speed. We also had two TVs in the room. The hotel is on a quiet road opposite the Swan Inn which sits on the banks of the Thames. We were not at all disturbed by noise during the night even with the window slightly open as it was warm. The private car park adjacent to the hotel is spacious and parking was no problem. We did not eat evening meal at the hotel due to the wedding. However, the breakfast was good. Full choice of tea and coffee, cereals, yogurts, tropical fruit and orange juice as well as a full english cooked breakfast. Mostly self-service in a large breakfast area. Check-in and check-out could not have been easier and the reception staff were welcoming and always helpful. We got a good room rate for 3 adults and were very happy with out stay. Would certainly recommend and consider a return visit if I was in the area again.

Good value
Lovely, friendly staff, very helpfull. Didn't like the waterproof mattress cover, made sleeping to hot and sticky.

Good, but not great
Stayed in the Suite, yet it didn't feel all that special; especially as there were no biscuits with the tea and only 2 tea bags. The room itself was well appointed. There were some minor problems: the sink plug was stuck at almost closed, the bath had a pubic hair in and the bottom half of the full length mirror was smeared in hand prints and one of the blinds was broken. We would possibly stay again, but it seems a little overpriced for what you get. Well situated for train into London and car/train to Windsor.

One night in Staines Upon Thames
This hotel was fine for a one night stay whilst we visited family close by. The room is comfortable and great to relax in. The breakfast area was a little disorganised and the tables were not cleared from other guests. The food however was lovely with plenty of choice.
