Great Hotel... but pay for parking.
The hotel, value for money, great comfortable room, walking distance of everything you need in Bournemouth. One negative, as soon as you book in the tell you to pay £10 for parking. The car park was empty! It would be far better if this was included in price!!

Nice rooms and good customer service
Room lovely and customer service excellent, did have a problem that the noise from the function room was very loud (room208) - called to reception and they quickly moved us to another room and gave us complimentary breakfast the next morning. Parking is busy but it was a weekend so to be expected

Beautiful old building.
We loved it here. Beautiful room and lovely staff. We had a real problem with the car park unfortunately but I realise you can’t really do anything about that. We were shocked at the bar prices too. A gin and tonic and a glass of wine was over £13. The waitress gave me the wrong change too. Still, we would definitely come back as it’s an amazing hotel. Thank you x

Staff were excellent. A friendly place to stay. Family room was perfect

Good 6,0
The hotel has amazing views, but it is very dated. Has some great features like dog friendly rooms (I didn't use that), an outdoor pool. Some of the staff were ok. The room was dated and worn around the edges. I needed a receipt from my stay, wasn't given one at checkout although requested, was given one when asked for by email and then calling and speaking to the reception having to spell a very simple email address 7 times in a row, using both simple, phonetic, and differing tones to then still be waiting for the asked for receipt - tiresome!

More suited for the older generation
We had a family room with a 3 year old and a teenager. The service was great, very clean and comfortable. We didn’t feel able to sit downstairs and eat as our 3 year old is quite noisy and felt like we would disturb the older diners so we had our food delivered to our room. Unfortunately our food was badly burned, so much so it stank our room out. The room itself was clean and comfortable if a little dated. The bathroom could use some repairs as the toilet roll holder kept falling off the wall, the door was bowed and peeling and some tiles were cracked and needed replacing. Over all it was a pleasant stay but geared more towards the older generation. We certainly wouldn’t stay again with the children
