Female at Check-In was not friendly or welcoming. However the rest of the staff were friendly. Normally its a buffet for breakfast but due to Covid it was table service. This was extremely disappointing - only one guy serving all the tables and he could not handle the demand. (He tried his best however there has to be more than one person servivng) we waited 40 minutes just for Orange Juice and had to leave because it took so long. Due to this, the tables were not being cleaned or sanitized and other guests decided to get up and help theirselves without wearing a mask. We informed the reception that someone needed to help the poor guy as he had 15 tables to serve. Poor service.

Old school charm struck me as l walked ice bucket in hand from an aging machine that seemed to be failing. The iconic never accept the 1st room shown became clear after a night when on night 2 thru 3 the man next door had a regular 9-10 argument phone call with his wife. It was increasingly loud by the night and l asked and was moved to a quiet room higher up better amenities as room one had no working television, dissolving picture and audio skips on each of the 200. But the bed was exquisite front desk and staff great. As long as you do not lean on the free breakfast you will not be happy with in earnest, you will have a nice stay but caveat emptor in the aforementioned areas.

Perfect hotel for my trip
I was very impressed with this hotel!! It was very clean and looked very new with the marble-like floors. The employees were all very nice and helpful, especially the lady at the front desk (Camila?). The location was perfect as well because it is right on the road that goes down the coast towards Tulum. Will definitely stay here again when I come back to Cancun.

This is my third stay in the past few years at this La Quinta and I plan to return in the future. The breakfast is great, the rooms are clean, the location is ideal for traveling to the beach or further south into the Riviera Maya, and the staff are helpful and address any concerns immediately. The A/C in my room stopped working but was fixed within 15 minutes of telling the front desk.
