high expectations, big disappointment
the good: + location + very friendly staff (except the rooftop restaurant, which was not so pleasant) bad: + the card for the lift + room keeps failing! changed it at least 5 times in 2 days stay + the rooms are allocated so that there are no windows, no balconies (even in the suite), and the AC did not work properly (at least in our room - i set in on 16 to give out a temperature of 23 degrees). + no privacy, at least in our room, which was the suite. in the picture they show you a bed with a window on its side, when actually we got window in front of our bad, the thing is - its a huge window, and in front of us there is a huge building blocking the view, like an eye sore. and since the whole building is in front of the hotel, all the rooms on that side will have the same experience (the only room that was on the different side, and also i am guessing looked like in the pictures they put on the websites, are the ones that face the south part of the hotel, for example room 1706,1606 ... ) + the pool is small, but nice . the spa facilities are lacking (a small sauna for up to 2 people, that had barely 70 degrees, and a steam sauna that barely had steam) + the shower, in our room at least, had a funny smell. of sewage - not a fun experience. *generally, it seemed like the hotel needs renovation, it had a dirty look to it, even though it wasn't really dirty.

Great hotel
Excellent hotel, in a good location. We booked a deluxe room overlooking the sea, which was huge and comfortable. At reception the service was efficient and friendly. Also breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. The Spa was also great. Maintenance could be better, there was an issue with a malfunction of the toilet, and one day we had to ask for towels and bathrobes 3 times and only got it the next morning. Perhaps due to the reopening after the covid period

Good but not amazing
This is not really a 5 star hotel compared to a 5 star in western Europe or north America. The front desk service is pretty poor; they seemed confused about their own procedures for requiring a deposit or not. The breakfast was good and the room was nice. The facilities such as the pool and spa were also good. They don't actually have two restaurants. They have one menu and kitchen and just bring the food to different seating areas.
