Travelodge Harbourfront

Initially was given a room with no window, even though I paid more for a better room. The bathroom is a little unusual. I believe a little expensive for the value you get.

Room was on the smaller side, however for the price we paid it was sufficient. We booked this room for the location to Sentosa Island without paying the price of hotels on the island. Definitely value for money. There is no separate room for the bathroom facilities, you had toilet and a shower and the vanity shared a space with the kettle, wardrobe and mini bar fridge.

Junior suite was way smaller than expected. It was raining on our way to the hotel (unfortunately), and the pavement was not fully sheltered. Our room was right beside the cemetery which makes us feels a little uncomfortable. The WiFi connection was bad, and TV was a little lag; which causes intermittent switch among different channels (hopefully it's due to the lagging and not something else - fingers crossed). The toilet door can't be fully closed and the room isolation is bad. We can hear the water from other rooms/ people talking at the corridor/ vehicles from the highway. There were also limited choices for the breakfast. Not the best experience and definitely not worth the price paid; it was my husband's birthday staycay and we couldn't sleep all night due to all the noises (and probably how uncomfortable and paranoid I feel) The room was clean and just across Vivocity though.

As I stay in many hotels throughout the world each year, a stay must be at the top of my list or at the bottom for me to take the time to leave feedback. This was not at the top. While the staff were pleasant and the rooms were clean, it was hard to escape from the noise. Thin walls and doors make it easily able to be disturbed by groups of visitors from neighbouring countries that feel the need to yell at each other despite the fact that they are within touching distance. The expensive suite was also prone to traffic noise from the freeway below. Access to shopping and the MRT were a plus but overall I was disappointed, especially at the price.

Only disappointment was the lack of room service . We arrived back late and so wanted to eat in the room but there was no evening room service, as advertised . The late room service has been stopped but the information had not been updated in the room.
