    Had a parking drama

    Avoid, u don't need any drama while on holidays. The so called manager (night staff) has a terrible attitude and horrible service.

    Make no mistake, this is a backpackers motel and you will be disappointed if that isn't what you are expecting. That said, the price was excellent, the morning breakfast was exactly what you would expect. Best of all, the location was just a block or so from King's Cross station so it was very easy to get around. No elevators though!

    I was travelling to an event and had limited time on my hands so I confirmed parking when I booked. I also confirmed my parking at 3pm on my way to check in. I arrived at to check in at 6.30pm and the parking was sold out even though I was told I had something reserved. We were given the alternate option which we were told was around the corner. It was not! it was a lot of corners away and by the time we got everything sorted we were late for the event. Not great.

    For the price the room was well appointed, clean & had a large TV. Breakfast was included in the price which made the hotel even better value. For a hotel so close to the Sydney CBD & harbour the hotel is a winner on all counts.

    I made this booking very last minute due to a cancelled flight. I felt it was good value and I would stay here again. Pros: Cheap, own room, good location, easy check in, helpful staff, complementary continental breakfast, good WiFi, hot water (I would’ve been one of the last to shower in the morning and there was still plenty), comfy bed, amenities such as kettle, fridge, basin in the room, power board for chargers, TV (though I couldn’t get mine to turn on), Coles nearby that’s open until 12am. I didn’t use it but they also offer an airport shuttle service. Cons: Not that clean (dirt in the bed sheets, the room generally needed a good clean). Facility is nothing fancy, I personally don’t care about that but if you’re looking for something with more warmth and comfort then you may prefer elsewhere. Would have appreciated a little soap with my towel but again didn’t really mind as there was a Coles open nearby.
