A fading out hotel in a critically useful location
Condor is a very useful hotel when visiting Brooklyn Navy Yard for business. This is our second year there, and the condition has degraded. The metal bedroom doors have no gasket, and constant talking and noise in the lobby and constant music broadcast day and night makes a deep sleep impossible. Cleanliness has degraded, bathtub is surrounded by filthy black mold and the door frame has collected sticky dust. The AC unit filter is clogged and filthy, and the AC unit controls are broken.

Fantastic hotel, couldn't fault it at all. Room was excellent, staff were lovely. The only issue we had was how long it took to get to/from Manhattan, particularly at night.

Not exactly what you would expect
Not what you expect. The neighborhood isnt the best, but the hotel is nice. The rooms are average sized. My bed was pretty comfortable. The bathroom was goid, though the shower wasnt as strong as i would like. Front desk staff were gery friendly whenever i spoke with them. I think if the neighborhood sees a bit of a Renaissance that it would be really beneficial.

It is really not bad
Having looked at some of the other reviews, I was nervous. The first thing I checked was for bugs of any kind - there were none, and none appeared during our four day stay. The room was recently refurbished and very clean. The only real drawbacks were having to ask to towels and toilet paper - the rooms are not cleaned during your stay, and you have to be persistent to get towels and toilet paper, which is kind of a pain. But - the room was very clean, and served our purposes of a college tour trip.
