Wonderful stay
Excellent hotel and value for money. The receptionists were extremely helpful and especially the one on Sunday 26/1 was exceptional. Thx for a wonderful stay.

Terrible place to stay in Paris
Upon arrival the huge apartment I had paid for turned out to be down the block in another building. You needed two passwords to get through two different gates, only to walk into a tiny courtyard overflowing with smelly trash bins. Had to step around these to get to your front door. Loud neighbors. Music blasting. TV loud. Shady characters drinking beer & smoking. Right at the first gate. Not hotel guests I don’t think, but regular residents. The apartment itself was divided by a long concrete stairwell, bathroom at bottom, bedroom top. In the middle of the night, sleepy, needing to go to the bathroom I was afraid of falling down the stairs. The views out the windows were not “city views” but opened up to bird droppings on a shingle. There was no way I was staying here five days. I immediately went down the street to the hotel itself, demanded another room, a hotel room. In the hotel. They good naturedly complied, very understanding. I was given in turn a room that was 1/4 of the size I had already paid for a two story apartment. There was no way they were of equal value. I feel like I was ripped off. But I had just travelled across France to get to Paris, was tired, wanted to rest. The new room was a tiny box. The shower sprayed out onto a concrete floor with a drain. No room. Staff downstairs was kind & helpful. The view looked over a pleasant courtyard. Location close to bistros al& bars. But the size of the room and terrible condition/ lay out of apartment was rank.

Mixed experience but a nice little hotel overall.
I stayed for two nights at The Element Hotel which was pretty well located, around a 15 minute walk from Bastille and close to the metro stations. The staff at the hotel were friendly and the check in process was fine, however I found the room itself to be much smaller than expected and noisy - the walls are paper thin. I didn't include breakfast with my booking however the hotel provides pastries in the reception area which are freshly baked each morning - a nice touch for guests to enjoy on the way out the door.

Charming cozy hotel
We picked the element for a last minute one night stay after a bad experience with an Airbnb. The Element has a unique charm and was very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Great staff, cl3an room, noise issue
The staff is amazing, very helpful, the rooms are clean and tidy, the bathrooms are being separated by sliding doors with no privacy, the sound can be transferred from one room to another as walls are so thin as you will hear your the conversations from the other rooms. Area is very doggy and looks bad but you have metro station and plenty of markets around that area. All the restaurant in that area are expensive and bad though!

Excelent hotel, great WIFI, great furnitures.
Excelent hotel, great WIFI, great furnitures (besides that it is everything black). In a bit isolated neiborhood, but nothing to worry about.

Super clean hotel in the heart of Paris
The hotel is super clean and comfy. Provides everything you need during your stay. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was a little bit small but good enough for few days. Hotel is situated in very nica area. Lots of restaurants, bars, cafes. Also very close to 2 metro lines. Definitely would stay there again
