Amazing service and care
We unfortunately did not get to stay at this hotel due to flight cancellations and then inability yo geta flight to Edinburgh during daylight hours. But the hotel was fantastic in its professionalism and handling of our issues and doing anything they could do to help us as we worked through at the time what was occurring. The staff were extremely understanding and eager to help. The hotel management were extremely gracious regarding our circumstance and requests that we made to try work with the situation. All i can say is the professionalism and genuine concern and care the staff had was outstanding and helped very much with the stress at the time and trying to work out how to deal with the continued issues to get to Edinburgh. I cant speak more highly of the staff and management and how it reflects on the hotel. I cant recommend them more highly

Great location easy walk to all major sites
Very nice hotel. Comfortable beds clean and fresh. Checkin was very quick. Located a few minutes from Haymarket train, tram and bus stop. Quick walk princess street and Edinburgh castle. Would definitely stay again.

Overall Great accept one oerson
The reception staff were absolutely fantastic and provide a service with a smile and were never too tired to answer questions. The room we had 406 was lovely and clean and spacious. The only downside of the trip was one particular lady at the breakfast area really short black hair (I don’t mean the Chinese woman) she was really snappy and very short not just to me but another poor chap. We asked her for some cutlers just once as there wasn’t any on the table her response was “Can’t you be patient we are really busy can’t you see. I wish I had got her name medium to large build then a few minutes later she did the same to another gentleman. It’s actually quite embarrassing being spoke. To like that in front of other people

If you like a expensive lack of shower - book now!
At over £400 for a night I expected a shower with some pressure. I also expect that they have a night manager who might actually do a walk round in the night and do something about the children running up and down floor 4s corridors at 2am. Room was satisfactory alms I appreciate the hotel milking that fact that Beyoncé was in town. I did ask to talk to someone with regards the shower but all to busy to listen.

Our room carpeting was badly stained, the tv remote did not work and the room safe would not work. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the front desk staff was helpful.

Convenient location
The location was great. Close to the train station, not a far walk from the city centre and attractions. Big beautiful building. Unfortunately they were doing construction across the street so my view wasn’t great but it was fine. The lobby is lovely and the staff were helpful. The room interior was cute and the room size was great. Very open and spacious. The bathroom could’ve been deep cleaned a bit more but not enough of an issue to deter me. The room had a bit of a funny smell. It bothered me but not enough to complain about because it was a bit in the hall too and it may have been the cleaning products? The room service food was… not great. Honestly if I ever stayed there again I’d eat out but the stay itself was fine.
