Beautiful setting, efficient staff, great hot tubs, and loved all the animals . This is a working farm with pigs, sheep, cows, ducks and kittens.

We recently stayed here for one night on two separate occasions and it was at the top of our list for favorite overnight stays. The location isn't surrounded by many main attractions - but the experience of staying there was great - from an excellent 'home cooked' dinner and generous breakfast, through to lounging in the hot-tubs and sitting around the fire at night.

Just stayed one night at this location. Loved the country feel and surroundings. The cabins are older but very comfortable. Enjoyed the sheep grazing around the cabin.

Cool place right by Grabrok crater, with neat outdoor fireplace shed, outdoor hot tubs, little farm and duck pond, and excellent restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely location, wonderful staff. Rooms in the main building are in the small side. Lots of electrical outlets, which is handy. Comfy beds, cozy rooms. I found it to be very quiet at night, and I slept very well. Handy location to climb the nearby crater, and about 30 minutes from Reykholt.
