Unpleasant last day
The hotel was an ok cosy spot close walking distance to train station, place was clean that i can say but in regards to breakfast which was included in stay i was told it starts at 8:30am on a weekend and which I was told the day before it starts at 7:30am so they need to make up their mind and dont work off feelings if they're up to it the morning I'd to go out and purchase McDonald's since my train departs at 8:30am otherwise from.that all else was ok

Overpriced & needs a facelift badly
I had a downstairs room which was handy as I had a problem with my leg & although I would have managed the stairs it saved me having too.
Room was not ready until 14.35 but I spent an hour in the lounge on the internet so for me that was not a problem & having forgot that many had said there was no internet in the rooms later when I tried it I got on without any problem.
The whole place though does smell of smoking inc my room I can live with it but it is supposed to be no smoking maybe they should hit those who do with an extra charge for doing so.
Breakfast was also better than I had expected there was for those who wanted it Sausage, Egg, Beans & toast. I don't really have much so just the toast was OK for me.
The place has seen better days & needs a facelift & at £95.00 it was certainly overpriced for the location.
Not a place I would return to that's for sure

Terrible hotel
It was a nightmare. I was meant to stay for two days but the deplorable conditions of the hotel forced me to leave after just one night. They refused to give me a refund. The rooms are filthy, the service is terrible. Rooms are dumpy and stuffy. I will never recommend it.

Disgraceful - do not go
To start receptionist was not helpfully, room was disgusting with damp on the walls, broken furniture, poo staines and sick on the walls in the bathroom, mould in the shower, sick down the side of the divan bed. Service was apporling - no choice in breakfast was just given toast with 2 eggs which was swimming in fat.
Was not impressed to say the least and will definitely not going back.
No idea how this got a 3 star rating.

clean bed
I booked a twin room. I was given a double room luckily my guest was unable to travel. Walls in the bedroom heavily stained and well worn, could do with some fresh paint and a new carpet. At lease the bed and toilet was clean. Breakfast was a shambles all they had was eggs and beans
