Very nice experience. Room was clean. Check in staff positive. In particular, like to mention front office Christina. Christina assisted with ordering train tickets from Bergen to Oslo. She was knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. And should receive a bonus for going the extra mile to help hotel guests. Please share this with Maria, her supervisor.

Great breakfast!!!
Wonderful Breakfast-had the scenic view room and it didn’t disappoint. Hotel does not have AC, most don’t, it does have window vent in room which was fine with earplugs and a light sheet brought up to our room - late June -hot day. Overall would recommend-especially for airport and train access. Armand’s airport express and central station literally right outside!!! Easy walk to attractions.

Sweltering and unairconditioned rooms
This hotel states on their public website and on hotels.com that the rooms have AC. The rooms do not have AC and they also do not have windows that open enough to cool the room. I contacted the front desk after arriving to my sweltering room to report that the AC wasn’t working. The desk informed me that there is no AC and the control that is in the room is not meant to do anything. I asked them to come explain to me what the control was supposed to do. They brought a small, loud fan to my room and explained that the control really doesn’t do much. There is no AC or climate control in the room that blows air, cooled or otherwise. The portion of the window that opens is a small panel about the width of your hand which is also covered by a metal panel on the exterior of the building so that no air actually comes into the room. This was massively uncomfortable as the room bakes in sunlight during long summer days.

Walking distance to train central station, shopping and eating areas. Friendly & helpful customer service at reception & breakfast area. Room views were amazing but room deco were simple but ok.
