An amazing find - located right on a beautiful beach, very short distance to the national park with some magic unusual sights. The buffet meals have choices for everyone. Lots of different kinds of swimming pools and spas. Only 2 hours away by bus from the high speed railway station.

Perfect for a solo trip
Awesome beach resort! I stayed here for 5 days on a solo trip and stayed in the lower level, beach view. The room was very clean and comfortable with a good wifi connection and could walk out my back door right to the beach. The staff was very professional and courteous but it will help if you speak some Mandarin/Taiwanese, as not everyone speaks English. I studied for a year before I went and had Google Translator app on my phone which came in handy. The breakfast was my favorite with western staples; eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast and a great fruit and juice selection. The live music at dinner was very entertaining. If you're a westerner, you're going to be one of the few so other guests will stare at you, but not in a bad way. Moped rental is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and you can park it right beside the guard gate if you keep it overnight. This side of the island has much less traffic, so riding around was a dream! For $20/day and a few bucks gas I explored the entire south side of the island including Kenting Park and Taiwan's southernmost point. I checked out all the other resorts in the area and you have to cross the street to get to the beach, but at Chateau I could walk out of my room barefoot to the sand, was very glad I chose it over the others. At first, I only had 2 days booked but after the first day, I extended it to 5. It was an amazing vacation and I plan to go back again next year.

Bad Service and bad smelling room!
The serivce was very bad at check in, i was with my family ( my wife and my 2 kids ) , I stopped my car in front of the entrance and ask the staffs there ( they were 5 in total standing there ) if they can help to take my luggages off the car since i need to tale care of my kids... No one help me and i did get off ny luggage myself. The room i booked has cigarettes smoke smell and i did ask to change the room and unable to change the room as they were fully booked.... So bad experience that i will definately not suggest anyone to go to this hotel anymore and if i could , i would request full refund!!!
