Nice hostel in cool neighborhood
I really liked my stay here. Comfortable rooms, bedding and clean bathrooms. Really nice bar/resturant on the first floor with good food. Terrace bar closes at 10 and the first floor bar closes at 12 so things got quite for a good nights rest. It would be nice to have air conditioning but the ceiling fan worked ok. I would like there to be charging stations on the back patio. Overall a very good place to stay and I would absolutely stay here again.

Fun times
Great place to stay! The staff is great and the rooms on the lower floors seemed better updated. Very loud on weekends nights. This is the place everyone seems to go to hang out!

The hostel is in a great location in Cape Town and has a thriving bar downstairs, especially on Saturday and Sunday. The service on arrival was great and the reception team were mostly very friendly (the occasional staff member who seemed to think serving customers was above them) and helpful, booking a few excursions for us. The hostel wasn't the cleanest that I have stayed in, in Cape Town which definitely let it down a bit.A bit more attention to detail on the cleaning front would make a real difference. Overall though a great location, especially for the younger crowd and a great place to meet people whilst in Cape Town.
