A really nice place to spend a weekend (or longer) away from your normal busy life. The property has 8 similar cottages, all in nice positions with different views. There are animals on the property to keep the kids entertained, and only a short drive into the town of Alstonville if you need dinner or some local shopping. The cabin itself was well equipped, and the inclusion of things like clingwrap in the kitchen was a thoughtful gesture I have never seen elsewhere. Would definitely recommend for a nice getaway (or as a halfway stop-over on a big road trip as we did).

Charming accommodation for a night or two away
This was a lovely spot for a quiet getaway. The cottage was spotless with no apparent noise from the main road. It is only a few minutes away from shops and restaurants. We chose to make use of the bbq situated on the front porch which was a nice addition. Overall the cottage is a very good size. The only apparent minor items that I would have liked to have seen provided would be - a pack of tissues, salt and pepper etc. and provision to clean the bbq before and after use. My partner attempted to take a stroll down the walking track but could not due to the path needing mowing and cleaning up. Apart from that, it is a very nice place for a couple or family to have a peaceful time away and we hope to return if we can in the future for a longer stay.
