The Malthouse
The staff and management of The Malthouse are very pleasant and helpful. The room was very comfortable and spotless. There was plenty of wardrobe and drawer storage. Shower and bath were also in great condition. We had a beautiful meal in the restaurant. Overall, a very pleasant break in a convenient, beautiful location. A great base to explore Yorkshire and Lancashire, very close to the motorway.

Lovely character, very comfortable, warm, cosy and clean. Staff were extremely helpful with queries about bus times etc and places to see locally. Andy Clay was particularly helpful, thank you so much. Superb breakfasts and good evening meals. Would recommend the Malthouse without hesitation.

Excellent overnighter at the Malthouse
This place is newly refurbished and therefore in great condition from the bar/dining areas to the room/en suite. Furnishings and decor are excellent throughout.Though we didn`t take to much advantage of it due to the weather and time of year, the Malthouse also has a vast and well furnished ouside area, too. The dinner menu is quite limited, though there is also have an additional good value £10 menu. Breakfast was generous and well cooked and presented. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the bar well stocked, having some good guest beers. Location great
