City Hotel Sofia

Very nice and new hotel. Very well located. Nice breakfast and wifi connection working fine.

Amazing hotel clean tidy food was a very good quality rooms spacious and very well presented will definitely stay there again

A good location, close to things to see in the city. The staff were friendly, particularly on the front desk. The restaurant could take some tips from them, as they took quite a little while to warm up. Breakfast wasn’t bad but not amazing! Room was comfy and very clean and lift went to all floors!

The only thing that was good in the hotel was the breakfast. The hotel is located in a poor district that does not seem very safe at night. There is a lateral entrance to the hotel that is not locked or monitored at night creating an unsafe environment. The hotel is far from everything.Some of the door locks did not work (although we had complained 3 times) The room was small and the bathroom was unpractical. The check out process was a pain because they came up with all kinds of last minutes taxes (real or imaginary?) The final price did not match what had been offered by Expedia. We paid because the employee was becoming threatening.

I highly recommend BW City Hotel in Sofia. My room was in the renovated section and it was small but tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The front desk was always helpful and responsive. The hotel is in an excellent location, in walking distance to many of the city's sights The breakfast buffet includes a variety of choices and dinner in the hotel restaurant was very good.

The hotel is modern but small. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The balcony’s are overrun with bugs and obviously are not swept as there are tons of dead bugs and webs. The breakfast was always cold, I guess they make it once and just leave it sitting there for three hours. W Front desk staff were very helpful. Overall not a hotel that I would stay here again there are many others to chose from that offer more value. This hotel is listed as 4 star yet there is no iron in the room, housekeeping is hit or miss, there were socks left on the floor from previous guest and surfaces were not clean. I had to use disinfecting wipes as surfaces were sticky.

Reception on arrival very good. Pleasant helpful staff. Room good with everything you might need. Parking rather expensive for an insecure car park ( anyone could walk in) but hotel also in a good central location. The cold offering at breakfast was excellent, the warm offer less so. Downsides: one very surly barman who would be better suited to professions that don’t require contact with customers. Two, the apparent impossibility to get some ice at 21:45. It seems no one was willing to unlock the door to the bar to get to the ice machine. Anyhow I managed to overcome the obstacle, but they could have been more helpful.

Designed and good looking rooms, Well cleaned, Comfort, Stuff were so nice and service-oriented. Location is great - 1 minuted walking to alexander navasky cathadrela and 10 minuted to vitosha bulevard and in general 10 minutes to all main attractions.
