2 nights in Brussels
This hotel is located right across the Brussels Midi Train Station. Very convenient to take trains to other cities or countries. The room was spacious and it was facing the train tracks on the 6th floor. I could hardly hear the trains even late at night or early in the morning. The surrounding area is a bit sketchy but it’s still safe to walk around.

Very good room with comfortable bedding, nice TV and varied cable channels. Strong WIFI. The only negative was a semi raised bath tub that could be troublesome for someone with mobility restrictions. Would book again. It was also next to the train station to grab a quick train anywhere and within 12 blocks of the town centre square.

Close to gare du midi - convenient assuming you're comfortable with the area. requested high floor and away from street so room was quiet except for the last morning where at 6 am on the day of check out either thumping or vacuums were going off. Staff friendly and helpful. Water pressure could be higher but this is Europe. Room condition is good, could use more lighting in toilet.

Disappointing Hotel
Check in was fine but the room was poor. Damp smelling and the bed had a plastic mattress cover which was very uncomfortable. Also the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor! The air conditioning could not be regulated so the room was too hot. We will not be staying there again-not up to the standard of other Novotels.
