It was by far the worst hotel that I have stayed. Let’ me start ranking each part of the hotel and explain why Reception : -5 it was the worst check experience instead of welcoming the guest they had a set of rules (Rule 1 you can NOT bring in outside food Rule 2 you can NOT bring in any liquor from outside the hotel Rule 3 you can NOT bring any guests to the room) instead of welcoming I was given the following rules and made to wait for a room. THE ROOM -10 Up on entering the room looks like it was stuck in a time warp from the 1980’s, rusted fixtures, stained tables, stained tv stand, a couch that was probably stolen from a 1980’s 42nd street NYC pay by the hr motel, the bed was most probably a wooden board with two sheets as cushion. Bathroom: -15 never have I seen a bathroom so bad where there was fungus & mold growing, the cleaning staff did a terrible job of cleaning the room/bathroom, they left towels which were used by the previous guest, Breakfast: -10 @ the great cilantro cafe Their is no one there to greet you, welcome you and to take you to a table, it’s prison feeding rules you take your food and sit where you can cover you food and eat I saw reviews where people were raving about the food Being in South India you should be able to make South Indian food right, the le royal meridian has done a great job of screwing that up, The staff at the Le Royal Meriden are some of the most arrogant, racist staff. Hope the Le Royal meridian close and renovate
