Nice quiet stay
We stayed over on a Saturday night as we were attending a birthday party locally. I checked beforehand that there wasn’t a wedding on due to some adverse trip advisor reviews related to noise. We had a twin room in the extension which was very good, couldn’t fault the stay in any way. We will use again and recommend to family.

Very clean but paid for superior room and bed was small for two of us to fit comfortably. Also, party guests were very noisy in rooms next to us. Thought we would have been placed in a room away from them, especially as we were not given a superior room which we had paid for. Not exactly a relaxing night away, sadly.

A bit of a let down.
I paid extra for a superior room and at £92 I expected something a little better than I got which was tiny with no bath, no window that could be properly opened on a terribly hot night and poorly stocked. The photograph depicted room 10 which is spacious and has a nice roomy bathroom and super king bed. Room 28 was nothing like as good and I don’t feel should be described as superior - it really isn’t. The hotel is nicely located however, and has pleasant, spacious grounds with lakes and ponds. Food was ok but I did feel ripped off.
