Beautiful and dusty
The hotel was half empty. We received a big room for 4 but it was very smelly of dust ( it looked like nobody used it for few months). We asked the very nice staff to move to other room on the second night and the new room was much better. The public area of the hotel is beautiful.

Very pleasant stay
We got a large and very comfortable family room and were very happy! The property was very close to Lucera and Fogia - 2 downsides were that the pool was not heated and breakfast was only until 10 am. Thank you for the staff working in the restaurant, especially waiter Alessandro, who was amazing and very accomodating through our entire stay, that served us a bit after 10. He was a really 5 star waiter with an old world sense of intelligence, kindness, wittiness ans willingness to please with dignity!!!

Beautiful hotel and setting but let down by unhelpful staff and poor catering. Each morning that we had breakfast the food was limited as the staff failed to replenish what had been eaten by earlier guests. We had to ask for more food and wait a long time. There is no food available between 2pm and dinner I.e no bar snacks etc so if you’re checking in and want to eat, nothing is available. We were told that sandwiches could be made but the staff were unable to make the number that we required and ridiculed my family members that queried the poor service! Lastly, when we checked out the WiFi was not working and so I left my card details to allow the hotel to make payment later on. They had difficulty taking payment and so rather than phone me, they charged the credit card I booked with. I telephoned and requested that they refund the credit card as I did not want them to use that card and that there was nothing wrong with the first card, encouraging them to try again. They refused to refund the credit card leaving me to pay uncessary commission. All in all, the hotel is let down by the awful service!

Nearly empty hotel!
The hotel was excellent but 2 of the 3 pools were shut and the pool bar only opened occasionally. The room was excellent and reception staff very helpful but the spa was weird as the manager followed us around and the restaurant staff seemed stressed and not very welcoming.
