We loved the location as we could seen the mountains from our room and also the dining area. The staff was not very polite and most did not speak english

Worth every penny for the view from the bar, restaurant, and the bedrooms. Incredible. The room was large, clean, had a great view, good heating, and great bathroom including lots of hot water. Food was good - both bar and restaurant - and the tours were excellent. In terms of the offered tours, we hiked up to the base of the Torres with my friend and our guide Felipe, who was excellent. The glacier cruise is brilliant, and includes free pisco sour. On our final day we did a tour of the main waterfalls and sights around the Massif - again led by Felipe. I thought this would be mildly diverting - it was actually seriously good, great to see some of the less well-known parts of the park that are equally stunning. Also to get up close with the vast amount of wildlife that’s hanging around. At lunch (the packed lunches the hotel provides are substantial) Felipe also produced bottles of wine and beers. While the tours aren’t cheap, you don’t get a cheap experience - they make you feel it’s worthwhile. Staying at this hotel was absolutely the right decision. Can’t wait to come back.

Amazing location. It’s the second time we’ve stayed here and this time it was for my birthday and they made that really special. We stayed in room 911 (excellent room number) and it had such a fantastic view. We were greeted by a view of an iceberg that had to be several stories high gleaming blue on the grey Lago with the glacier grey in the background. Amazing. Good food and yummy pisco sours! I only wish we hadn’t split up our hotels (two days in one place in TDP and two days in another) because I’d love to still be staying there and have that view. However, when in TDP you shouldn’t spend much time in your room because you’ve got to get out and explore!

Hotel Lago Grey is exceptionally located in Torres del Paine on the Grey Lake. I was informed that the hotel used to be considered a Hostel and that’s maybe somewhat noticeable in the facilities although I understand they are looking to add a Spa. The Hotel thrives on the Navigation to the Glacier which is a truly wonderful trip but suffers slightly with its excursion offering in the Park. Just be warned that as a solo traveller it might be complicated to do tours as they have a two person minimum, grant priority to all inclusive guests and only have a small team of guides which to me seems to be understaffed. The guides however who were amazing, they are extremely knowledge, friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the hotel staff (reception, Restaurant, Bar) and the navigation team are all fantastic and do everything they can to assist and accommodate you. They even go as far as to contact Head Office so they can make an exception. I had a Superior Lake view room which was very comfortable but it didn’t have an uninterrupted view of the lake, as the pictures show, but a large tree bang in the middle - that’s not to say the view was bad just not as expected for the price of the room. Overall I had a wonderful time at Lago Grey and with a few tweaks it could be exceptional.

We stayed at 3 different hotels in Torres Del Paine and this was the best of them all. The room was comfortable with a breathtaking beautiful view of the lake, mountains and Glacier Grey in the distance. The restaurant and bar also had the same beautiful view but from many windows. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was good and reasonably priced (in fact it was the best value food in the whole park when you compare price and quality). There was a welcome drink which could be redeemed at the bar anytime. The only improvements I could suggest would be to include a fridge in the room and a bathtub. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I return to Torres Del Paine

Beautiful hotel in a pretty spectacular part of the world. We stayed in a lake view room and weren’t disappointed. Views were excellent. Bed was comfortable and shower was large. Wonderful staff who spoke English better than lots of places we have stayed. A few things to note. It is a long way from the parks walks and view points though it has some of its own walks that are pretty good. Around 1.5 hours to the Mirador Base walk approx driving. The room has a radiator but no air con and we found it very hot some nights even after turning the radiator off. Walkways are made of slat timber so hard to roll suitcases on. Would recommend and would absolutely stay again.

With great views of Lago and Glacier Grey inside Torress del Paine Park, this is a wonderful location. Due to isolation the hotel restsurant is the only choice. They had a large tour group there snd the night we ate there the staff was overwhelmed. We ended up going to bed without dinner. The next morning the remnants of the dinner bill had already been removed from the bill. Well done. The beds have old coil mattresses and are on wheels. Not comfortable. We arrived after a long day at 7 PM. Our room wasnt ready. Im not sure why. At over $400 USD a night, I expected better.
