Beautiful hotel and fun day in downtown Alajuera!
The hotel gates open and a gorgeous garden paradise awaits! We really enjoyed our (too short) stay at this hotel. The staff was fantastic. Dinner was local and delicious; they served us poolside so that our kids could swim, and a gorgeous white owl landed on the tree in front of us! We completely enjoyed going into Alajuera to shop and eat. Take the local bus - it's cheap and safe - into the city center. Enjoy coffee and pastel de manzana at El Tostador, and definitely enjoy the Sopa Marisco for lunch at the Cevichera stall in the indoor city municipal market. Book several nights at this hotel; you'll be sorry (like us) if you limit your time here!

What a great find!!!!
Was our stopover stay when arriving in San Jose. So glad we booked it because our flight was 3 hours late and driving would’ve been very difficult at night. The hotel and grounds are spectacular. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. Restaurant had authentic Costa Rican food which was fantastic and waiter was very personable. Highly recommend for anyone needing a place close to San Jose airport.

Great place to stay in San Jose Area
Stayed here for a night before needing to go to the airport. The property was very pretty and well maintained. The room was clean and the towels were nice and soft. The restaurant on the property is only open for hotel guests and was pretty good and breakfast buffet was more than adequate. The hotel was a quick 15 minute ride to the airport and only ₡5,300 uber ride. The hotel offers a shuttle to the airport for ₡12,000. The property was secure and has a gate to enter/exit the property. I would definitely stay there again if I found myself in the San Jose area.

Simple and clean
Just stayed one night after flying into San Jose. Simple room, clean, pretty grounds, good breakfast, restaurants in walking distance. Nothing special.
