Friendly and helpful staff. Fresh, clean room with a view of the river. The location was a nice 5 minute walk past "Little Venice" on the way to the old town. Car parking in a nearby hotel garage was available (small fee for overnight) for this "Bett u. Bike" hotel. Overall, a comfortable experience. I would stay here again.

Perfect boutique hotel beside the river
What a find this is! Lovely hotel beside the river with minimalist modern rooms, very friendly owners, free Wifi and a fab breakfast, all within walking distance of the old town and cathedral. The only minus is no parking at all but there is a covered public car park nearby.

Walking distance to everything. Hotel on the river
We walked about 1.5klms from the train station to the hotel. Our room had a nice view of the river and is a very short and lovely walk to the old town area. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very pleasant and efficient.

Charming small hotel
We loved our stay at this hotel. It is close to most of the sights of Bamberg, a charming and historic city and a World Heritage Site. The owners were charming and helpful in directing us to historic sites and recommending restaurants and things to do.

Great stay in a great German town!
Unfortunately it was for work. But the stay at the Tandem was most pleasant. Nice breakfast, serve by the friendly staff. Nice location on the river and close to the old town.

Great Hotel in a Quaint Town
Loved the Hotel Tandem, no qualms at all about staying here again. It's right near a nice little strip of Breweries/Beer Halls in the old town section, yet still walkable from the train station. Great place
