The best thing about this hotel is the location and the buffet breakfast.
Staff was pleasant but the room, and overall condition of the hotel, was saaaaaddd.
First, I booked this hotel with the expectation that there was a fitness room, as shown in the booking photos. Was informed, after traveling 16 hours, that the photo was taken 3 years ago and it had since been closed. I actually had to find a gym nearby, Star1Gym, and spend $41 for a week pass as that is a non-negotiable for me.
The laundry list of cosmetic issues exceeds the number of characters allowed but let’s say it’s WAY past it’s heyday..by about 20 years.
Housekeeping came each day to change the towels but never once changed the bed sheets and I wound up using a towel to mop the floor as I never felt like it was clean enough.
But let’s focus on the ‘positive’ aspects. It’s in a GREAT location. You can literally walk to Ben Yehuda Street in 5 minutes and the Jaffa Gate in 15. Super convenient location and when I return to Jerusalem again, which I will because my Sister lives there, I would absolutely pick this area, but likely NOT this hotel.
