Kaunas Apartments are a very conveniently located, clean, and budget-friendly option for staying in Kaunas. The furnishing of the apartments is not as nice as you might find in more expensive places, but you get what you pay for.
For example, the couch in our apartment was plasticky and uncomfortable; the bedroom blinds were broken and missing parts; there was no shower curtain and no way to support the hand shower without getting everything in the bathroom wet. The kitchen was basic, but covered most needs (no espresso machine, which we say in some places).
There is parking, but it is a bit tricky to get and out of the lot, and sometimes to find space in it.
Service was ok. It may not be easy to see that they only accept cash here. When I asked where was the nearest bank machine, they did not really direct me but just said there were many options on the street. I ended up walking about five minutes before I found one.
They showed me two apartment options on arrival. One of them was up several flights of stairs and smelled a bit moth-bally, but it was furnished better. The one I chose was up only one flight of stairs.
One day we found a stepped on grape in our room, which didn't come from us. That was a bit strange since they don't service the apartments during your stay.
All of the above sounds negative, but it was a decent place in a good location.
