Paid extra for a sea view but couldnt see it for the dirty windows. Mattress uncomfortable and the whole room was on a slant. Breakfast not very nice with cheap tasting undercooked bacon.

Perfect location overlooking North Bay for a stay in Scarborough. Yes the hotel is an old building like all the others in the area but well maintained throughout. Rooms basic but pleasent, with tea and coffee. Staff were helpful to all requests and all covid measures were in place and adhered too. Hotel felt safe to stay in. Would stay here again when visiting Scarborough next.

Very good value and friendly staff. A few squeaky floor boards in the corridors, and the lift needs replacing with a modern version. Apart from that the room was very clean and a good size with everything you’d want. The staff were doing a marvellous job under very difficult circumstances, it must be a nightmare having to wear a face mask all the time. Keep up the good work it was very much appreciated.

Booked a double room, room I got was a single with a 3/4 size bed. Room door couldn't be opened fully as it hit the bed. Very small room with poor quality. No car park, had to park 500m away and pay £6 for on street parking.

Only stayed the one night out of three, room was too small no drawers, very small wardrobe, had to sit kettle on floor next to bed (not many sockets) cheap chicory coffee saches no tea and although through Covid era only two paper cups supplied. Room also directly opposite Gents and Ladies toilet across a small corridor Only stayed the one night because we were being charged at least that

Stayed here with a friend we should have attended a gig at the open air theatre but unfortunately it was cancelled but this hotel is in a perfect location for that venue. The hotel itself is a grand old building with rooms that could do with some modernising but it was very clean (COVID standards) the staff were very helpful. We had a family room overlooking the sea and had no issues at all with our stay, would use this hotel again.
