Great Hotel for Visiting Trondheim

We had a fantastic stay at the Thon Hotel Nidaros in Trondheim. The hotel is lovely from the outside and warm and inviting on the inside. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, they assisted us with all questions and were always willing to help. Rooms are on the smaller side (at least for an American) but was comfortable and had all the necessities. The breakfast spread was massive and phenomenal. The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting Trondheim, it was an easy bus ride from the airport and the hotel was only a couple minute walk from the stop. It is easy walking distance to multiple sites, restaurants, pubs and other shops, and it only took us about 5 minutes to walk from the hotel to the train station. The ease of our stay made us wish we had more time to spend in Trondheim and at the Thon Hotel Nidaros.
