Strasbourg 5 day leisure break.
Hotel is perfect for train travellers and the reception staff were really friendly and helpful. The hotel operates a lovely old vintage lift along with a modern elevator. The room was a decent size for two people and the air con worked well. The breakfast was a little dissapointing from both the selection on offer and the replenishement of the food. It was very obvious that the two staff operating the breakfast service were not trained, as on several occaisions when tables were to be cleared and food supplies topped up, the staff were either chatting outside the hotel or walking around with hands in pockets. Guests were regularly left waiting to be seated and often there was a mad rush by guests to fill plates once the staff did eventually venture into the kitchen to replenish the food display. Had it not been for the poor breakfast service I would have certainly rated this Hotel much higher.

Absolutely loved our stay in Strasbourg at Hotel des Vosges! A supreme location for those coming in by train with easy walking access to all of downtown. The staff was delightful, exceeding all expectations for requests whether they were for a baby crib or just some interesting things to do in the area. Ludivine in particular was a superstar. For the combo of price/service/and location it's hard to beat this Very Best Western.

Very pleased and amazing bed!
We stayed in a suite for 3 nights. This has been the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! And very lathe at 200cm width. We came here to spend time relaxing before visiting family in Strasbourg, after being exhausted by work and a very long drive from Scotland. It was the best place for it. We checked out the mattress and mattress topper and found the mattress topper is eco-friendly. I have a back injury so finding a good bed is difficult. The room was a good size, well laid out. Fridge in room spacious enough to have champagne and wine bottles standing. The bathroom was amazing; dual sinks with very good lighting around mirrors. There was a very deep bath tub and separate shower cubicle with rainfall and normal shower. Again probably the best hotel shower we’ve used. Good location within walking distance of centre, cathedral and Petit France quarter. Check in was easy, polite assistance given by hotel staff as required. Domestic staff friendly and made room up well. Discount ticket given for multi-storey car park a couple of minutes walk away. Very pleased with our stay and we will definitely stay again when we are next in Strasbourg. I cannot say enough how happy we were with the bed!
