We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The location was very good and it’s very close to the Mrt station. Rooms are very clean too.

everything’s a short walk away
Stayed for an impromptu 4 night break. Lovely modernises hotel close to everything. Great pool & big range of breakfast items. We had a corner room overlooking Hill Street & the pool ( which is open until 10pm). Staff wonderfully helpful. No downsides at all.

Great location and staff.
Great reception people. We arrived very early from a long flight and they provided us a nice room right away. It was a blessing. Also centrally located to everything.

recommended. 2nd time and many future booking agai
This was the 2nd time we booked this hotel. We had a great and quality time at the hotel. Cleanliness is good. Service is good as well. The hotel arranged a complimentary cake and a birthday cake for my husband, and he was really surprised. Greatly appreciation for the hotel and the kind gesture to make our experience a good and memorable one.

The fast and minimal hotel
It was generally pleasing to stay in- it was clean, very comfortable bed, nice staff. The only con is the breakfast was extremely limited, the tea and coffee offered in the room was minimal, personal items in bathroom such as toothbrush, shower cap etc was also extremely limited. The housekeeping was very fast and quick, not very clean at all...

Very disappointing
Annoyingly this hotel runs lights, aircon etc. from a phone app you need to install (I expect will be used for future marketing) or use a wall panel – it’s very cumbersome to do the simplest of things, eg turn a light on/off, which is especially annoying if there’s anything you need to do in the night. If you’re a busy person and you don’t want to bother with having ridiculous complexity added to do super simple things in life – then do not stay here. I love style, which the room had, but it’s style at the expense of practicality. Impracticality starts with reception being on floor 3. Then the check-in was all quite confused and clumsy... Room was stylish but grotty -paint splats on the floor, cobwebs on the legs of furniture, hadn’t been cleaned well as there was glitter and dust on the floo, lots of hair in the shower which was pretty yuck (it all stayed there for 5 days I was there so seems they don’t clean properly often). Wobbly desk (if you need to work). The air con had no temperature control and only has 3 levels: 1 – a bit noisy, 2 – Very Noisy; or 3 – Extremely noisy. Despite the noise, it still didn’t actually amount to much cooling so was quite hot at night. 4 times I phoned the Guest manager and never had a call answered. Bed and pillows were beautifully comfortable however the sheets were very synthetic. If you’re like me and can’t sleep well with synthetic sheets then you may want to note this. I won’t stay here again.

Not what it used to be.
Not the hotel it used to be. The hotel has been reduced in size from a grand lobby and dining area to a level 3 entry via a lift from street level. Breakfast used to be excellent with a wide variety of food. Now much reduced in size. Our Crystal Club room now has ‘smart wiring’ which is absolute pain to use. Not a lightswitch in sight. When you enter the room every single thing turns on, aircon, fan, numerous lighting areas. Everything is turned off Individually from an iPhone sized pad on one side of the bed. They say you can download the hotel ap to control features but this requires your personal details such as credit card number and passport details. No thank you. Overall a disappointing stay.

Good Facilities With Bad Service
I called a day before my stay to tell them that the person who was checking in was going to be my boyfriend. It was supposed to be a birthday surprise for him, so I made it clear that the cake that was supposed to be sent up to the room should not be communicated to him. Unfortunately, the surprise was ruined when the person at check-in asked him when he would like the cake to be sent up. When I later arrived in the room, the cake was sent up even though I said that I will tell them when to bring it up. We told them to bring it back and only come back at 9 as we were about to head out. Flipping over the quilt revealed a few bloodstains. Called front desk to change it and they said they would, but even after 30 min, they were not there, so we had to call them again. Once again, only after 30 min did they arrive. Told them at 7.30pm to bring the cake up at 12am instead, along with 2 tubes of body wash because we were going to the gym and pool, lady at front desk told us face to face that she would arrange for that and we even saw her write it down. When we returned to our room at 9.45pm, the cake was on the table, which meant that the service staff entered the room even when we weren't around. This was very disappointing as our valuables were inside! How could they do that? Called front desk and was only met with receptionist saying "oh you don't feel safe?" No shit, Sherlock. Who would be able to account for things if we found that our valuables were gone? 5 star hotel? No.
