Worst experience ever!
This was the worst place I have ever stayed. It wasn’t very clean, shower was gross, looked like it had black mold on floor tiles. We only had one roll of toilet paper. She was nowhere to be found after checking in to tell her. Area looked very dangerous, I was not comfortable walking around at night. Service was horrible. Check out was supposed to be at 11:00 but the owner came knocking on my door at 9:30 demanding I go settle my bill, obviously, I was just getting around to getting my things together, just waking up, but she came back and said she had to leave so I had to go pay even though I still had an hour and half to do so, but I guess I have to go around her schedule. Then it was a language barrier and she locked my credit card trying to swipe it about 10 times. So needless to say, I will never stay here again and I would never, ever recommend anyone to stay here.

A ma and pa operation
The owners of the motel were very friendly. However, the facility needs updates. There was not a shower curtain. We decided not to take shower daily because the bathroom would have been flooded. Can't get internet reception in our room. The room was cold even with the radiator on at night. Unlike some other hotel that have installed additional air-conditioning unit that work as heater as well. The facility does not have any air-conditioning. We stayed that last week when the temperature was around 40 degree. It was cold. And the water in the bathroom was mildly warm which was another reason why we did not take daily shower. However, the price is right for budget travelers.

What I expected. Hotel is old and not super clean and bathrooms need some work. Its not somewhere I'd stay more than a night or two and certainly not posh, but for an overnight for an early morning flight, it can't be beat in location (2 blocks) or in price. I could see how some people could be critical of the place, but there is some Italian charm to it that made me overlook its flaws and the couple who own it are absolutely delightful. There are lots of restaurants near, the Chinese next door really good. I'd otherwise prefer to stay in the historic area because I found Rome sights pretty walk-able. I think the area is safe, but there are some bums and not much there other than restaurants. It was nice to support a hotel that is family owned and run
