They gave me an excellent room in the annex. Despite catering to cyclists, it was the only hotel in Europe during my 2 month tour that charged me extra to store my bicycle!

Excellent.
Excellent location. Breakfast included. Very close to Castle Estes and several great restaurants. Centrally located to explore Ferrara. 5 minute bus ride, or 20 minute walk, to the Ferrara train station. Easy to travel to Florence or Venice from here.

Okay, for a Business Trip
I booked Hotel Touring based off of great reviews from my Colleagues as we frequent the area on business trips, and stay for up to 14 days. Unfortunately Reception switched the rooms of myself and a colleague. This was frustrating as I had paid more to be in a larger room. The room I was placed in had little room to manoeuver around furniture and the shower was narrow (I'm 5' and less than 150lbs). Even after reception admitted their accident they later said that I paid more because I had not booked as far in advance as my colleague and that I was in an older room that was not renovated. So basically don't waste your money deciding on Double Room Single Occupancy vs. Double Room. There is apparently no difference except wasting €20 a night extra and if you're concerned about paying for Breakfast it is included if you are staying in the main building, another thing not mentioned until after asking Reception about it. The WiFi was terrible. From 0500-0800 I could barely connect and from 1600-2200 there was no chance of connecting. The Hotel did attempt to fix this problem by changing the router in my hallway but it did not help. Its fine if you don't need it, but on a business trip, frustrating. The noise. The hotel doesn't have control over this but request a rear room. I was in a front facing room, and for whatever reason people take out and collect trash at 0100-0300. Incredibly disruptive when I had meetings and lectures the next day.

Location is great. It is right at the bus stop for the fly and bus from Bologna. My room on the 4th floor had a view of the castle. Very clean and functional hotel with a nice breakfast.

Great location
When we booked online it stated that we had free parking. That was not the case when we got there. The parking garage was full and we had to pay for parking which was very hard to find considering the location of the hotel. The location was great - walking distance to sight seeing but having to put coins in for parking was not ok.

This place was sparkling clean and the check in was simple. It is a quick walk to the castle, and nearby local food spots. Staff was friendly as well.
