Beautiful but strange bedding
The ship is beautiful inside and out and the promenade deck is stunning for a drink and sone snacks. Service amazing. Pool only for kids, this is not clear at point of booking. The main issue is the beds, although the mattress was comfy it appeared to be placed on an old sofa cushion above the bed base. Very strange. Would deffo visit again if they improved the beds.

Very unique experience! Our room was quite a walk from reception but that just shows how impressively large this ship is. The room itself was lovely and clean with a very comfortable double bed as well as a fridge, wardrobe and desk, and a spotless bathroom with good-running warm shower - everything we needed! The ship is quite far from everything but there are buses a short walk away every 20 mins as well as a water taxi stop on the starboard side (again very unique!). Breakfast was rather expensive at EUR 21 ppn however it was of good variety and quality, was all-you-can-eat, and the staff kept the stock up nicely. Sidenote, all staff I encountered were friendly and welcoming. We also took part in a tour of the engine room and other below-deck ex-working areas which was very fascinating even with only being able to use an audioguide for English commentary (tour guide gave tour in Dutch but was happy to answer my questions in English).

My husband and I live on a cruise ship half the year and I am a content creator. My husband use to work on this ship. We were excited to stay here. My only advice is to not stay here in the summer. The air does not work nor does it circulate. As a ship engineer of 30 years my husband tried to tell the front desk and when we turned around to leave we were laughed at. It was my husband, 15 year old daughter and myself. It was a very bad night with no sleep. Also the restaurant: we were very excited to eat there. They forgot to put our order in. We waited 75 minutes for our meal. They forgot the appetizer, then the bread, then brought us the wrong water. Sounds silly but it was 2 hours of me getting up and down from the table to find a server as servers didn’t stop to us and there were many different ones. We live in the Netherlands and all agree we will never go back
