Disappointing stay at Hotel Garbi
We had booked a family duplex room and this room is nothing like the nice refurbished rooms shown in the photos. It was very tired and dated. Bathroom had a bath with old shower curtain, however water pressure in the shower was very good. The upstairs bedroom area for our children was most disappointing part. It had a sofa bed with s wafer thin mattress that they could feel every spring in their back. Spiral staircase was not safe and we all bashed our heads on this moving between the Balcony and bathroom. Balcony in the room was very small and not big enough for three family to sit on. Corridor down to restaurant smelled bad and was offputting. On the positive it was a very relaxed atmosphere at the pool area, Jacuzzi was nice and the gardens are beautiful. Breakfast was good. Car parking is disorganised and our car was scraped on the bumper while parked there.

We stayed in one of the bungalows which was spacious and beds were comfortable but many of the fittings were quite worn. All plates in the dining room were chipped. Used, dirty glasses were left around pool area for several days without being lifted by staff and the loungers and tables were dirty. With a deep clean and fittings upgrade, this could be a great hotel . Location is great.

Amazing weekend getaway
Really nice and renovated rooms. Location is beautiful walking distance to the centre. Very complete with a very nice pool area. Massage services by the pool (they were great). Good food at the restaurant and live music or cooking shows organized by them .Very friendly staff. Amazing views of the ocean. Highly recommended
